Camp NSF is hosted by The Nephrotic Syndrome Foundation in partnership with The Taylor Family Foundation in Livermore, CA.
Camp NSF offers a chance for our patient community to gather in a safe and carefree environment for a weekend of family camp! We offer games, arts and crafts, ropes course, magician, therapy dogs, horseback riding and more...a night hike for older kids, campfires with s'mores, movie night, etc!
Camp NSF is open to all pediatric patients diagnosed with NS and their families. We are required to give priority to patients within Northern California, but to date we have had room to for families from all over including as far as Washington, Texas and Oregon. If space allows we will do our best to accommodate! Some assistance with travel costs may be available for families attending from within Northern California. Applications filled on a first come first serve basis.
CAMP NSF 2020
The Taylor Family Foundation, upon whom we rely to help host camp, announced their decision to cancel summer sessions for 2020, including Camp NSF. While we are deeply saddened that this situation is upon us, we completely support TTFF's decision as it was made out of respect and concern for the health and well being of our Nephrotic Syndrome Foundation family. There is no greater priority than the safety of our patient families, and we give particular weight to the situation we are in at NSF, caring for children with a chronic illness, many of whom are immuno-suppressed.
We look forward to the time when the world heals and to gathering with you under safer circumstances in 2021.
Stay safe and be well. We are thinking of you and looking forward to seeing you in 2021!
