Camp NSF is hosted annually by The Nephrotic Syndrome Foundation in partnership with The Taylor Family Foundation in Livermore, CA.

Camp NSF offers a chance for our patient community to gather in a safe and carefree environment for a weekend of family camp! We offer games, arts and crafts, ropes course, magician, therapy dogs, horseback riding and more...a night hike for older kids, campfires with s'mores, movie night, etc!

Camp NSF is open to all pediatric patients diagnosed with NS and their families. We are required to give priority to patients within Northern California, but to date we have had room to for families from all over including as far as Washington, Texas and Oregon. If space allows we will do our best to accommodate! Some assistance with travel costs may be available for families attending from within Northern California. Applications filled on a first come first serve basis.

Camp NSF 2021

This year we went virtual!

Although we would prefer to gather in person, we were excited to welcome patients and families from all over! Monday, July 12th we kicked off Camp with a 'Meet your Counselors' virtual meet up, followed by a Q&A with UCSF Nephrologist Dr. Paul Brakeman for parents. We offered virtual programming and fun all week long, and gathered for the big event on Saturday, July 17th. We provided Camper Boxes full of goodies and activities to each registered family!

Camp was 100% free for all families.

Thank You

to all who joined Camp!

In true camp spirit, over the past two years, our wonderful patient families, camp counselors and volunteers met up through even the most challenging times for a week of fun culminating in Camp. We completed crafts, made mud-pies, painted faces, learned new things and more.

Whether in person or virtual, Camp is magical because of  YOU!

We are looking forward to returning to in-person Camp in 2022! To get a glimpse of what's in store, please check out years past!
